That’s certainly a shame as many fans were excited to play Nancy Drew: Midnight In Salem and meet Nancy’s new voice actress (Her Interactive parted ways with previous voice actress Lani Minella following Sea of Darkness). While my vote would be for no more ‘collection’ mini-games ( Sea of Darkness had players collecting phone charms), the masses voted for better graphics, better storylines, more gameplay, more characters and for Nancy to be faced with more dangerous situations. The spooky title was set to be released later in 2015 but Her Interactive has now announced that Nancy Drew: Midnight In Salem has been delayed to 2016. Nancy gets a worried phone call, with the caller explaining that someone she knows is in danger and is even suspected of being a witch. In a teaser trailer that was about as cryptic as they come, Her Interactive hinted at some supernatural goings on. Fans had barely managed to complete the game when just nine days later, (publisher and developer) Her Interactive announced that its sequel, Nancy Drew: Midnight In Salem, was also on the way. Back in May, Her Interactive released Nancy Drew: Sea of Darkness, a PC adventure that took the world famous sleuth to Iceland where she would investigate missing treasure.
